Troy Betts Memorial Award
The "Troy Betts Memorial award" is a club trophy struck in 2005 in memory of Troy who tragically lost his life in a truck accident early in the 2005 Season.
Troy’s love of soccer was nurtured throughout his junior and later senior playing period with Burragorang.
Troy's mate, Jim Brown & family donated a perpetual shield to the club to recognise the outstanding achievements/contribution of either a club player, coach, manager, parent/carer or committee member over any given soccer season to be presented in his memory.
Nominations for the award are called for towards the end of each winter season.
